After a busy Summer from the Isle of Wight Festival and all over the gaff, Sheffield’s Floodhounds will be joining us at the start of the run to Autumn, bringing their precision high energy indie rock sound to the live room. Self-proclaimed rabble-rousers, they are a tightly locked three piece and their music maintains a heavy groove with infectious lyrics and choruses.
Championed by BBC Introducing Sheffield, and winners of a Pirate Studios’ National apply to play competition, and joint winners of Sensoria Festival’s Composition award, presented to the band by Steel City musical icon, Richard Hawley.
Gigslutz called FloodHounds latest release, ‘Take It Too Far’ a “psychedelia-packed beast of a tune”. It’s the first of four new tracks from FloodHounds forthcoming EP, due out mid 2019.
