Glass Cannons, The Holy Orders and Verona at Dubrek Studios.
Glass Cannons are arguably Derby-based, despite currently being scattered to the four winds they remain committed to their music. True float-indie, their sound draws on older influences such as Shed Seven, but improves on it manifold.

Main support are The Holy Orders from Hull. Described as a harder Radiohead, there’s hints of Weakerthans and post-rock within their alternative sound which weaves quite poppy melodies delivered by Matt Edible’s aggro-wistful vocals.

Slowly but steadily rising on the Derby scene having played at The Bless and the Sitwell to rapt audiences, indie/alternative rocksters with a hint of reverb-drenched gaze, Verona are making their mark and opening the evening.
