Pleased to announce that in conjunction with the Hindsight Art Exhibition, there’s also going to be a free gig with an eclectic hand picked line up!

All the way up from Reading, The Clever Hans will be headlining with their Goth, Indie, Dream Pop, Shoegaze, Tears For Fears tinged, early 90s Bowie-esque, Pink Floyd sound. The real question is ‘do we have enough reverb?’

Their first album was a belter and this is an excellent chance to catch them performing some songs from the new 2019 release – especially as trips up to this here ‘North’ are infrequent.

Main support is provided in the form of the pseudo ethereal R Loomes, whose dark brooding vocals tear at you as they accompany her haunting guitar sound. An absolute master of her genre, she would give Emma Ruth Rundle et al a run for their money. The real question is still ‘do we have enough reverb?’

Opening the night will be the filthy lost soul of Tommy Disfiger. Originally an incarnation fronting Free Choice Paradigm, the line between reality and fiction blurred over time and having been locked out of Facebook and unable to get back in it’s anyone’s guess if medical science can ever repair this fracture. Things got so bad at one point that he went off and actually enjoyed himself, playing around India and rubbing his wonderful life in all our faces. More free spirits than free spirit, more Jack Daniels than Jack the Lad, Tommy is armed with cutting observational songs or misery played on his beloved Bazouki. Or guitar. It’s anyone’s guess at this stage. Worth seeing though.

There isn’t enough reverb to hide Tommy.
